BWASA CENSUS 2012.
[BWASA 2012]

The BWA South African Women in Leadership Census [BWA Census] was first conducted in 2004 and represents the foremost annual research into the status of women in corporate South Africa and includes research from the USA, Canada and Australia. The Census represents a real head count of women in leadership positions [Executive Managers, Directors, CEOs and Chairperson] in all companies listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange [JSE], their subsidiaries and State Owned Enterprises [SOEs]. The data is also bench marked against data from government departments which highlights the participation of women within the public service. An international comparative analysis is also included. Premised on the notion that “what gets measured gets done”, the BWA Census provides an on going, comprehensive analysis of women in leadership and allows us to measure South Africa’s performance towards gender equality and equity in the economy. It tracks implementation and compliance. Companies listed on the JSE and their subsidiaries control together with SOEs at least 90% of the South African economy and allow us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the participation of women in the mainstream economy. :Approximate size specification - Product length: 315mm - Width: 215mm - Weight: 700g
